WATER: A SOURCE OF LIFE AND DEATH is an abstract film that explores the idea that water is more than just a simple mixture of hydrogen and oxygen—it is the source of all life. Through color, symbolism and simple imagery, this fragile connection is studied.

Water is more than just a simple mixture of hydrogen and
oxygen molecules—it is the source of all life. Human beings can go on for
days, even weeks, without food but can die in a matter of days without
water. Although water is crucial to survival, it is potentially destructive. We
have heard countless stories of people drowning in bodies of water and
entire towns being engulfed in water. What may appear
innocent can be a source of lethal destruction. Through color,
symbolism, and imagery, water is depicted as something necessary yet
potentially detrimental to life.
