The Orinda Film Festival supports films from around the world that inspire, educate, challenge, and provoke audiences to explore other viewpoints and forms of expression. They represent a wide range of categories – from narrative features and shorts, to documentaries, animation, music videos and experimental efforts. Since its inception in 2002, the Orinda Film Festival has continued to grow and refine its efforts to create an engaging, entertaining and provocative event that encourages discussion and appreciation of movies. Their previous festivals have received wide industry, community, and media acclaim establishing a benchmark of quality films for the future. Each year they have continued to expand their festival offerings and are proud to offer many new programs this year, including a spotlight program for emerging high school filmmakers. They are tremendously supportive of up-and-coming filmmakers and tend to spotlight the talent of independent filmmakers and students. In addition, they also showcase the work of accomplished artists and larger productions featuring celebrity casts and crews. Click here to view the festival listing of "Water" |
