The 2004 Moonlight Film Festival is over and it was a great success! Entries came from Benicia film makers and from teens in Vallejo, San Francisco and Arcadia. More than 250 people attended over the two evenings of the Festival. Missed it? The films will once again be shown on our local public access TV channel. The Moonlight Film Festival is an annual showcase of entries in the Independent Film Contest for Youth, produced by young adults between the ages of 12 and 22. Judges view and score each film. The top three films of each catagory, the audience favorites on each night of the Film Festival, and the Best Actor and Actress in the opinion of the Judges, recieve a prize. The Benicia Public Library is dedicated to providing for the informational and recreational needs of lifelong learners, collecting books and materials and offering services that enhance ready access to the information and knowledge needed by a literate, culturally diverse community in a rapidly changing technological world.
