We believe bringing cultural events to our communities and raising money to fund art and technology-based education for children are important. That is why we are so excited about moving forward into our second year. We still face many difficult challenges, but we remain committed so that with every new season the festival will grow and provide an important resource for all filmmakers and art enthusiasts. I believe it is important to say that we remain committed to ensuring that the Imperial Beach International Film Festival will continue to allow the free exchange of ideas and expression. That is such an important part of our American ideals and values. Our inaugural year would not have been possible without the support from some of our local merchants and members of our community. We are so grateful for their involvement and courage in helping us to bring this fantastic medium to the South Bay of San Diego, and we’re looking forward to increased support from this most amazing part of our country.
