The City Shorts Student Film Festival is an annual event of the City College of San Francisco. Selected films were screened at the Diego Rivera Theatre and later broadcasted on local Educational Access Television.
The City Shorts Student Film Festival was sponsered by the following businesses and organizations: Adolph Gasser Inc., Blowfish Sushi, The End-Up, The Film Arts Foundation, Rainbow Grocery, and Trader Joe's.
If life imitates art then the mural by artist Diego Rivera was a prediction of campus student life at City College. In the mural, people of diverse backgrounds, ages and occupations are portrayed together in work and at play, creating a sense of well being and accomplishment. City College reflects such diversity and focus.
Serving the community as an innovative institution of learning for more than 60 years, City College of San Francisco continues to make a significant contribution to the Bay Area and beyond through the achievements of its students.
